Very connected to the earth. What I mean by that is I spend as much time as I can in nature finding the longer I am there the more comfortable I feel and more I learn. This is true of the deep forest, prairie, desert or mountains, lakes, streams or ocean. I've degrees in zoology and biology and would describe myself as a amateur naturalist, alchemist, seeker of medicinal botanicals..lol. Rarely do I trail walk since trails are for people who need direction whereas I find what I'm looking for off the beaten path..even though I don't always know what it is. I go to where I am drawn. Seriously if everything we were looking for was right where we could find it everyone would have what we wanted. Searching is what makes the journey worthwhile. Even if just the Journey is the gift.
