I believe it can, if that love is built on strong spiritual beliefs, not religious beliefs, but spiritual. When two human beings have a strong connection to their spirits, or Divine Selves, the ego plays less of a role by utilizing the distractions that those who are ego driven thrive on. To love, spirit to spirit, is so intense that the superficial world seems mundane for us. This, to me, is true love. Some may call this twin flames, or soulmates.
About myself, I’m a single father of two children looking to connect with like minded people in my area. I’m of Abenaki origin, so I do participate in the local Native community. I’m also Irish and Portuguese, so I’m not a full blood by any means, which is why my spirituality extrnds much further than just Native beliefs. I also study personally, and in Temple: hermetics, alchemy, Quabala, sacred geometry, wicca and reiki just to name a few.
First and foremost to me, is the ability to hold a deep conversation. One sign of unconditional love is the ability to hold a conversation effortlessly with each other. Information flowing back and forth like a stream of consciousness connecting together. The other, and just important as the first, is the ability to always be open to learn something new from each other.
One aspect of our Native teachings that I hold very dear to my heart, is there is no such thing as husband and wife in our culture. We call each other, walk besides, because that’s what we do. Walk side by side as partners, not one leading the other.
I’m looking forward to meeting many new people on here. Many will end up becoming close friends, but you never know, maybe that twin flame, that walk beside, could be also hiding within.
Much blessings, and safe journeys
